Leadership

Although our talented staff members coordinate most of the day-to-day decision-making in ministry, our church is governed by a council made of elected elders and deacons. These officebearers are responsible for ensuring we're on track to accomplish our mission and vision.

We believe the Lord has called these leaders to an important task -- not doing the ministry but equipping all the saints for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12). To that end, everyone who leads in any capacity at this church takes Jesus' words to heart: “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave ‐ just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:26‐28).
