The Lamb who is worthy to take the scroll begins opening its even seals, setting into motion the plan of God that will bring the end of the age. As seals are opened, four horsemen, symbolizing conquest, civil war, famine, and death. As the wrath of God is unleashed on earth, people cry out, “Who can stand?” Chapter 7 offers the answer, showing a multitude of people dressed in white because they have been made clean by the blood of Jesus. The message is clear: We can expect tribulation in life, but we can also expect to overcome through Jesus.
