Revelation ends with a picture of reality once the battle against evil has been fully and finally won. The picture on the last page of the Bible is very much like the first. People once again enjoy fellowship with God so directly that a temple is no longer necessary. Jesus’ death has made all things new, and there is no longer anything to fear or any reason to mourn. Knowing the ending motivates us to live faithfully now.
