In Revelation 19-20, John shows the final battle from the sixth bowl again, highlighting Jesus in even greater detail. He is riding into battle, but he is bloody even before it has begun. He has shed his own blood, and his word is his only weapon. Those who follow him into battle are wearing fine linen. In the end, all people, great and small, must appear before the judgment seat, where the only escape is through the Lamb’s book of life.
