As humans, we face many problems in life. The Bible is clear that our greatest problem is that sin has separated us from God. In fact, we don’t start life as a blank slate, but we are born with an inclination toward sin that affects every part of us. Unless we are able to correctly diagnose our problem, we’ll need seek the right cure.

- Take a few minutes to read and repeat Romans 3:23. Try to memorize this verse.
- Do you think that sin is something we can get rid of on our own? Why is it so hard to choose to do good?
- Read Ephesians 2:1-3. Is there something in these verses that stood out to you? If yes, why?
- Sin separates us from God, but Jesus saves us from the consequences of our sins and he loves us no matter when we mess up! Take a some time to pray: Tell God that you are sorry for your sinful actions, and thank Jesus for loving you even when you sin.
