Week of January 10-16 | Introduction
God uses his Word to change lives! However, we know the Bible can be an intimidating and confusing book to pick up and read. Our goal is to help you understand the "big picture" of the Bible by surveying it from cover to cover. We're using The Story to guide us along the way.
Each week begins with a Sunday sermon that will introduce that week's reading. On this site, we'll post each week's reading and some discussion questions you can use with your small group, triad, family, etc.
On Wednesdays, we'll be posting a video designed to help you think deeply about what you're reading. You can find those videos right here!
If you want to go even deeper into Bible study, we are offering an online group. Pastor Bill will post discussion starters on Mondays and a wrap-up video on Fridays. You can join that group by visiting www.facebook.com/groups/cascadefellowship. We'll also post the videos here for people who are not on Facebook.
What are one or two things you hope to get out of this study?
Why do you think it’s so hard to understand some parts of the Bible?
What is your favorite part of the Bible? Why?
What parts of the Bible are you least familiar with?
Do you think the Bible has one overarching message? What do you think it is?
How do you plan on making Bible reading a part of your life in 2021, practically speaking?
