Volunteers In service (VIS)

Volunteers In Service empowers Christians to join Christ’s work in their community. As people of faith, we know that service is a powerful way for individuals to express and experience Christ’s love. Volunteers In Service helps the Christian community answer the call to serve with an open mind and a ready heart.

Just as Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, Volunteers In Service helps people of faith and their churches prepare their minds, hearts, and hands for service shaped by humility.

Leadership Training Event!

Although it looks different this year, we pray that through this alternative platform we will still be able to encourage and support church leaders as you begin the ministry year. So on behalf of Volunteers In Service and Resonate Global Mission, we invite you to this online event where, through Ted talk style videos, we will have three speakers share their thoughts on Learning New Ways as a church. The three topics are:

  • Learning the New Way of Being Present.
  • Learning the New Way of Having Conversations about Race.
  • Learning the New Way of Charity.

We are excited to share this event with you! For more information click here. To register click here.
