God calls each of us to a life of gratitude, and a very important way we express our thanks to him is through prayer. For this reason, prayer is a vital part of our relationship with God. Jesus gave us a model prayer that can help us understand how God wants us to pray.

  5. Do your prayers engage God in this way? If not, where do you need to make changes so that they do?
  6. Finish your time together by praying through the Lord’s Prayer. Leave space after each section to breathe and make the words your own.
