Easter weekend was amazing at Cascade Fellowship. We had 569 people worship with us in-person — not a free seat to be found! And if you add in those who were worshipping with us online via our livestream, we reached almost 700 people on Easter!!!
I want to make sure that everyone at our church knows how important it is to take next steps in growing in their relationship with the Lord. We have several great opportunities coming up this weekend, and it’s not too late to get involved:
- This Saturday, April 23, at 9 a.m., Julie and I are offering a Spiritual Gifts Workshop. We believe that the best life is the one lived with and for God. One part of that is using your gifts for his glory, so in this interactive workshop, we’ll help you discover how you’re gifted and leave with a concrete plan to put in action!
- On Sunday, April 24, after worship, we’ll begin our next semester of our Discover Cascade membership class. Whether or not you want to become a member, this class is a great way to learn about who we are and meet some new people from our church family. It will meet for four weeks (skilling Mother’s Day).
- Finally, this Sunday, I’m excited to begin a new sermon series called “Habit: Unlocking the Power of Spiritual Disciplines.” We’ll learn about how prayer, submission, study, silence, solitude, and sabbath opens the door to transformation in our lives!
I hope you’ll join me in rejoicing in all that God is doing in our church! See you soon!
